Zanclus took the lead in the early stages, led all the way and won in hand. He was rated masterfully on the front end and each time someone made a move to challenge he had the answer. Ebanour launched a rally with a half mile to run but could not sustain his bid. Le Chevalier rallied in the final quarter mile but was second best.
