Lunaire and Caughtoncamera set the early pace. When Luniare dropped back, Caughtmeoncamera continued on with Connagh's Quay joining him to race as a team the last three furlongs. Connagh's Quay prevailed under the shadow of the finish line.

Turbo Drive lead from the start with Hard Game close behind. With a quarter mile to run, Hard Game ran over a beacon and lost his rider. Kicking Myself and Peace Knicker rallied from far back to finish second and third but could not thresten the winner, who won handily.

Masterful Touch led the way the first time around but droppped back. Agravain was always well within striking distance and vied for the lead in the final three furlongs with Economic Policy. Agravain and Economic Policy battled from the last fence with Agravain prevailing in a driving finish.
