Sorolla took the early lead, by the 7th fence Make A Stand took the lead by 3 lengths. Sorolla next followed by Lightning Ridge. Further back was Icandothat, Anzio and Riptide Rock. Sorolla retook the lead at the 14th and held off a bold challenge by Lightning Ridge. Make A Stand was 3rd and distanced.

Ran together with the Foxhunter Timber. Fit For A King was first to the 1st fence, followed by The Red Fox, Greylover and Foxhunter Hey Teacher. At the 2nd Greylover moved up one place and then remained the same thru the 12th fence where Hey Teacher lost his rider. The Red Fox was having a difficult jumping trip and pulled up. At the last Greylover landed in front and held off a late rally by Fit For A King.

Foxy Walk off the top first with Quick Cat behind. Foxy Walk was uncontested until the mile marker. Top of the stretch still Foxy Walk by a length and Quick Cat threatening. At the wire it was Foxy Walk, Quick Cat and Pietrelcina. There was an Official Inquiry with results standing. Foxy Walk was ridden by Jordan Canavan - it was his first ride and win in the US.

Two Past Eight attempted a pass of the leader then Prince Khozan made a third attempt at the leader but finished second. Third was Two Past Eight allowed by Comanche Peak.
